In the problem of women was the germ of a solution, not only for their oppression, but for everybody’s. The control of women in society was ingeniously effective. It was not done directly by the state. Instead the family was used—-men to control women, women to control children, all to be preoccupied with one another, to turn to one another for help, to blame one another for trouble, to do violence to one another when things weren’t going right. Back when we launched two of Tumblr’s most unique features, reblogging and the Tumblr Bookmarklet, we devised automatic “via” links in post captions as a simple solution for attribution. Three years later, this solution has gotten us pretty far. But it’s easy to spot some real shortcomings:
• It’s hard.

a) This reporter could not sound more bored when talking about a room full of logs and creamed corn.
b) Michael J. Anderson doesn’t seem to know how to talk without draaaaagging out his vowels. Leeeeeets rock!
c) Bob is actually kind of hot.
d) Halloween will now be known as “Black Lodge Day.”
I guess my favorite place on campus so far would be the horseshoe. The horseshoe and the buildings in it were the original university, and since I’m a history nerd I love that! The confederate soldiers used the horseshoe during the civil war (which is SO awesome!!!) and actually kept it from being burnt down. The horseshoe was reconstructed but is still a huge part of campus. A lot of offices are in the buildings that are on the horseshoe, and the area is also used for a lot of ceremonies.
So of course I love the history behind the horseshoe, but I also love it just for its overall atmosphere. It’s really amazing to see an area like that with trees and plant life in the middle of a city. It’s a really peaceful place and I’m sure when it gets a little cooler, I’ll be out there studying quite a bit!
Alternative Energy Drink
Inspired by Ada Wong.
No more need for 5 hour energy drinks (unless absolutely necessary). All you have to do is grab a glass of ice, and then suck on an ice cube. I’m pretty sure you can’t sleep with an ice cube in your mouth. :D
Then again, you could always end up spitting it up and wetting your bed… :|
Are you stupid? How can you be so selfish and cruel enough to say something like that? You should really start to think about the affect of your words. Think before you speak.
Once those words come out of your mouth they can’t be taken back in. Be careful about what you say, you might not realize how much your words may hurt.
